Nightwing

A piece I drew based on some Nightwing comics that I was reading at the time. I really wanted to work on my ability to draw detailed backgrounds without making them appear too overwhelming or busy.

Final Piece

Rough sketch of the background and the positioning of the character

Began adding colour to the body of the character

Finished adding colour to majority of elements in the foreground

Began roughly placing colour throughout the buildings to try to grasp a sense of the overall image
